Housekeeper Duties
Housekeeper duties range by family, as well as how many hours/week a housekeeper is employed. These may include a combination of various items including:
Daily maintenance: changing linens, making beds, laundry, ironing, cleaning kitchen, dishes/dishwasher, counters, dusting, mopping/sweeping/vacuuming floors, keeping all rooms clean and tidy, emptying the trashes, refilling items (soap dispenser, paper towels, toilet paper), bathrooms, etc.
Deep cleaning
Organization: closets, pantry, refrigerator, maintaining inventory of household items/supplies
Meal assistance: Grocery shopping, light food preparation (washing/chopping, etc.)
Pet care: feeding, letting in/out, etc.
Specialized searches: typically require special recruiting, additional time, and a higher salary such as laundress, meal planning and/or cooking
